Our Group in Tiananmen Square, along with a photo of the Male Lion with the very famous image of Chairman Mao in the background.
These were guards in the square that allowed me to photograph them. They are only allowed to be photographed while off duty. I was told while in the square that if there were any protests I was not allowed to take pictures, my camera would be taken without hesitation.
