Reid August 25th

Hello everyone!

I haven't been very good at keeping up the blog. But I'm going to start to post pictures here instead of sending emails. So here are a few pictures of Reid on August 25th.

One Week Old!

Reid is already over one week old. We can hardly believe how fast the time has gone.
He is a wonderful baby, we are so very lucky!

His first Doctor's appointment was yesterday and he is already 7 lbs. 9 oz. and he is almost
21 inches long! He has gained 11 oz. and almost 2 inches since he left the hospital!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone for all the support, calls, hospital and home visits, flowers (the nurses called my room the "floral shop"), kind words, encouragement, gifts, food, cards and kindness! We are so very fortunate to have such helpful and giving people in our lives. Reid is one lucky boy!

Welcome to the World

We welcomed Reid Thomas into the world on Saturday July 12th.
He weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 19 inches.
There are many times we catch ourselves simply staring at him in amazement.
He truly is the most wonderful gift, we couldn't be more thankful. He has already
brought us an unimaginable amount of joy.

40 weeks!

We made it to the big 40. We are just putting the finishing touches on Baby Neuman.

It's been fun, and now we just are playing the waiting game. We are trying to stay busy and we are more patient than I thought we would be at this point.

Hopefully we will have some good news to share with you all very soon!

39 Weeks 3 days

Here we are at 39 weeks 3 days and still hanging in there!
All is well and everything is going great.

Happy 4th of July to everyone, a day late. We are heading off to the fireworks tonight.

38 Weeks!

38 weeks and I am still amazed every day by our
unborn child and the process!

Last week, at 37 weeks the baby was considered full term. At 38 weeks, the baby is considered clinically mature.

During weeks 37-Delivery the baby is between 19-21 inches and between 6-9 lbs. Approximately the size of a watermelon :)

In three weeks or less we will have a wonderful addition to our family!

Again, thank you to everyone for all of the "baby gear," your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated. This child has so much great stuff!

Our Growing Garden!

garden, so here it is! It's growing like crazy.
We are excited for all the fresh produce this summer!
