Puddles of Fun

These were taken on June 4th!! On July 4th, I was reminded that I never posted them. This was a fun day in the puddles. On July 4th, we had so much rain our fireworks were canceled, Reid had tons of energy bc we let him nap forever in preparation for the fireworks so we let him run in the rain and we joined him. I don't have pics of that bc it was raining so hard, but I set the video camera up on the porch. Anyway, enjoy these pictures!

Swingset Building

Here are a few shots from the swing set building extravaganza.

Reid looks so grown up, he shot up and looks really tall right now. When we lay him down for the night he says, "Nig night Reid, sleep tight, nig night Mommy." Very cute. We were running around like crazy people today and we were in and out of the car and after stop 4 of getting in and out of the car we drove by the turn to our house and Reid really wanted to go home. I told him we had one more stop. He picked up his play phone and said, "Yes, yes, Umm, shopping one more stop." It was really funny.

Digging Myself Out

of a picture hole!!! I've got tons of pictures so stay tuned. There is also so much I am forgetting to write down and I'm forgetting it. Oh well, anyway.....here are a few pictures. Also we left Reid for the longest we've ever left him this past weekend. We left him for a whole afternoon and into the night. He did awesome and never even asked for us or mentioned our names. My mom said the only time he said "mama" was when he saw an "M" on a toy. Hmmmm. Not sure if I should be happy about that or sad. Just kidding, it was awesome, he had three of his cousins to play with and he had a blast. They went to a party, they went swimming, they danced and played like there was no tomorrow. Last week we spent tons of time at the "ockey ink" and he ran and ran and ran. Then we got to spend the last four days at the pool and park with the girls so I think the rest of this week will be BORING. Reid is a blast right now. Really improving his speech and sentences are really flowing! He pretty much knows all the numbers up to ten, but still counts "1, 2, 1, 2"He loves these picture cards, and one day gathered up the flower, dragonfly, butterfly, ladybug and the spider and dragged me by the hand to the door, "Outside, Look." He wanted to go search for all of them outside! When we found a spider he was so excited and kept holding up the card and saying "WOW!!"Naked playing, nothing better right? So I'm asking, why do children always do stuff for other people and act like it's no big deal and then when their parents want them to do something they won't? Like go potty on the potty? Reid went potty for my mom and sister but will he even sit on it for us? Nope.Ding dong, where is your belly button? Just a cute picture. Well we will miss you El, "allie" and "auntie andi" thanks for everything especially all the laughs. Did I mention that they are stretchy?

Helping

Reid loves to help in the kitchen. Well he mainly likes to play in the kitchen sink. We must cook a lot because the other day he said pointing out the kitchen window, "Squirrel, looking Mama and Daddy?" And I asked him where the squirrel's mom and dad were and he quickly replied, "Kitchen, cooking."

Someone actually said to me the other day, see it happened to you too, you slowed way down in taking pictures of Reid. Actually, I really didn't, I just slowed way down in putting them up on here and editing them! So dirty and tired by the end!
