Snipping

This is one of Reid's favorite activities right now, "Snipping." It may take awhile to clean up, but it keeps him occupied for long periods of time! He also likes to cut pictures out of magazines and build people and families.

Pumpkin Picking with Grandpa

We went to pick the pumpkins my dad grew and would you know it, the deer ate one of the biggest ones! Good thing we went that day otherwise the others probably would have been gone too. Here they both are, very proud of the pumpkins!

Goofs

Just goofing around as usual. Very typical scenarios in our house! Well autumn is definitely here, school is in full swing and all is well. Reid went on a field trip with his preschool to the pumpkin patch, today he has school pictures, and is loving every second of it! He surprises us everyday with his reading skills. He is reading simple sentences and constantly telling us what signs say on the road or in stores. The other day he said, "Mom that sign says we are driving on Main St." and "You can't go in this line, it says Lane Closed." We've had fun putting clues around the house that he has to read and find the next object and clue. He loves it. Happy day!

Oh Brother

This little creative cat is going to be a big brother any day now. And he is going to be such a great big brother. If we are in a store he shows me things she needs or things that are, "So cute," just for Flap. Yes Flap, that is what he wants to name her. She is also referred to as BG. It took a long time to find a little name for her but BG and Flap have stuck. BG standing for baby girl. These names have actually taken so well that it may be hard to call her by her real name when she arrives.
I wish I would have been a better blogger because then I would have documents everything he has said throughout the pregnancy. Things like, "What Mom, what? Like go to the Dr. and get my baby sister out of there?" As he patted me on the belly, when I told him there was something I needed to do today but I just couldn't think of what it was. Yes kiddo, yes, if only it was that easy. "Is mom at the Dr. getting my baby sister?" He asked Kevin the other day. He gives her kisses, whispers to her and even sings her songs. He goes into her room and plays with the toys we have in there, he's just all around ready and so are we. So Mr. Reider, you are going to be one fantastic brother and I can't wait to take it all in. Let's start this wild ride all over again and create our little family and all the memories that come along with it.
