Winston the New Milkbone Spokesdog!!!

So get this. I photographed the brand new one and only Milkbone Spokesdog!! I photographed him before he was famous while shooting for Becker Communications. I worked with Winston's owner Melisa and we used him for an ad campaign and had a blast! Winston was one of three finalists and today on the Bonnie Hunt show announced the winner! Congratulations Matt, Melisa, and Winston, enjoy this exciting time!

Another Favorite

Here is another favorite photo I took. These were Joe and Sarah's engagement pictures.
They both are so beautiful that it would be really hard to take a bad picture of them!

7 Months

As you can see curiosity gets the best of Reid. He just needs to have that sign! Technically these aren't the best photos, trying to keep the sign in one piece and keeping Reid from falling off the monthly photo chair is really hard!

Have a Happy Valentine's Day

I know this is early but enjoy your Valentine's Day!! This is all we are going to do for a Valentine's shoot with Reid. If you look closely on his onesie it says "Born Romantic Loves to Be Thoughtful."
Thanks Sandi, it's adorable!!!
-why do my photos look so unsaturated when I upload them to blogger? They look beautiful in photoshop and then I upload them and they look like this....oh well whatever.

We saw these a long time ago....

When Evan was an infant we (Paulo, Kevin and I) saw these and almost bought one for him. Now Paulo reminded me of it through all of this bottle rejection. He thinks Reid may need one. Poor Reid, we're already embarrassing him!

Come on Teeth!

Come on teeth! We can see you, two little white cutters on the bottom. Just pop, Mom and Dad need some sleep :) Just kidding, it really hasn't been that bad, I just feel so bad for Reid. I wish they would just come through already!

Changing Gears

Yes can you believe it? A post that isn't about Reid. Today someone asked me what my favorite weddings photo was that I have ever taken. Now you all know that shooting wedding isn't my favorite thing to do. It's one day, a very special day, what if something goes wrong with my camera? What if my memory card malfunctions? What if I screw up? One day, a short ceremony and that's it. No do overs. In the world of commercial photography I've always had time for "do overs" not that I needed many or anything :) It's always nice to know in the back of your head that you have another chance...just in case. With weddings there is one day, one dress, one kiss, and one hairdo that's it and you've got to get your shot. Well you also know, if you know me that these weddings have been growing on me. I did a couple last year and when I got home I felt energized and it was a lot of fun. So who knows maybe weddings are in my future. Enough rambling...here it is my favorite wedding photo. I love it, I think the bridesmaid on the right makes the photo and of course the bride is gorgeous!

Enjoying the Wonderful Wisconsin Winter

This is my favorite kind of winter weather. There is snow on the ground the sun is shining and the temperatures are actually tolerable! As you can see Reid is loving it too! (I'm not convinced that Kevin likes me always carrying my camera though.)

More Favorites

Here are two more of my favorites from this photo shoot.

Good Morning!

A couple of Reid pictures to help you start your day off right! Reid has a new trick, I bet you're dying to know what it is aren't you? He won't take a bottle anymore. Anyone have any suggestions or reasons why out of the blue he refuses? What a little stinker.

Reid's doctor's appointment went really well. He weighs 16.1 lbs. and measures 26 inches. He is growing perfectly and handled his shots like a trooper!

Reid is doing so much right now that I have to document. He loves his saucer, he loves to eat (he got carrots yesterday and insisted on the whole jar), he is pushing up and scooting a little bit, he is eating his feet, he is hiding his tooth (which btw is back under, teething is so fun) he is peeking around everything bc the grass is always greener and many many other fun things! So stay tuned for lots of pictures! Also, I've been asked to post about cloth diapering and pictures of Reid's bedroom by LOTS of people so that is still on its way!!
In the meantime enjoy a couple of pictures of Reid in his pack on a walk on a beautiful sunny winter day! (Thanks Sandi and Chris for the awesome baby pack!)
Reid has a doctor's appointment today, so we'll update with his weight and length and let you know how great he did getting his shots!

Favorites....

These are two of my absolute favorites. Reid looks so sweet. Could you just squeeze him?

For Auntie Sandi.....

She requested photos of Reid sitting up! Here you go! There are lots of great shots from this shoot even though it lasted all of 5 minutes. I'll even show you the progression or actually the regression of the shoot!
I took these recently bc I realized that this is my favorite outfit and it barely fits him anymore! Isn't he just precious?
