Way to Go Joe!!!

"The media thinks Joe did a great job, he got some good pub which is always good to see," Paulo Pavelski.

Pavelski, Joe: 82 GP, 19 G, 21 A, +1, 28 PIM, 207 SOG, TOI: 14:06, FO%: .535; playoffs: 13 GP, 5 G, 4 A, +3, 0 PIM, 44 SOG, TOI: 22:02, FO%: .532. Li’l Joe made huge strides when moved to center the second line, despite the lackluster play of his two wingers. He picked up his game defensively and made several big shots, including four game winners. In the playoffs, he earned even more playing time (third among forwards behind Joe Thornton and Marleau) because of his clutch play: 3 of his 5 goals were game winners. He also was the most well-rounded forward on the squad, defending, scoring, and assisting with equal proficiency. A-

34 weeks 1 day

This photo was taken today at 34 weeks 1 day.

During Month 8, weeks 33-36
the baby is the size of a honeydew melon.

The average size of the baby is
between 17.2 in.-18.7 in. and
between 4.2 and 5.8 lbs.

Signs we are getting closer to
being parents....
-Today at our Dr.'s
appointment I was given "walking"
papers (my medical history) and
was told to carry them with me
where ever I go from now on.
-When the Dr. came in he said that
an early delivery wouldn't be what
he would wish for me, but Congrats
I've made it to the point where if
we go into labor they will not do
anything to stop it.

Our Garden

Kevin, working hard again! This is our new garden plot. It existed, but it was filled with non-producing raspberries. This year we decided that it would be a better place for things like herbs, various peppers, tomatoes and things of that nature. The plant in the picture is rhubarb which was a transplant from the raspberry patch. We aren't sure if it still likes life, but it is welcome to stay if it wants to.

Kevin Busy with the Landscaping

Here is Kevin very busy at work on our new landscaping project.
It is a 100% improvement from when we moved in!

The Nursery

Here are a few pictures of the nursery. Kevin and I have been busy painting the last two days!
(Kevin has been busier than I have and he also has become a Master Edger) The ceiling looks brownish in the two wider pictures so I took a close up. It is a bright orange/melon color.
I'm very excited now that the initial painting is done! Stay tuned for more pictures in the next two-three weeks. I will be doing more decorative type painting, and also putting in the furniture. It is back to real work for the next two days, I think I'd rather be painting!

32 weeks 2 days

Here we are at about 32 weeks. It has been getting more and more exciting and fun as we get closer to meeting our little one.

In the last week or two strangers have starting to ask me about the pregnancy and openly ask me questions. Which has been very entertaining!

The baby is definitely running out of space in there and Kevin and I are able to see and feel various body parts.
My last doctor's appointment went really well and the little one is perfect in size and I can even eat more ice cream (maybe just for a week or two)!

I will hopefully be making posts more often because I think we'll be seeing significant changes in the baby's growth in the next 54 days.
Yes that is right, only 54 days until our EDD.

We are also working on our yard and of course the nursery. So keep checking back in the next couple of weeks for some updates!
