Way to Go Joe!!!

Li’l Joe made huge strides when moved to center the second line, despite the lackluster play of his two wingers. He picked up his game defensively and made several big shots, including four game winners. In the playoffs, he earned even more playing time (third among forwards behind Joe Thornton and Marleau) because of his clutch play: 3 of his 5 goals were game winners. He also was the most well-rounded forward on the squad, defending, scoring, and assisting with equal proficiency. A-
